            This article is the result of the second stage of the research project entitled: selection and analysis of anthropometric equations for the calculation of body composition in adults. In this article, a review of primary and secondary sources was made, on antecedents and outstanding investigations of works that have been carried out on anthropometric methods and techniques for the calculation of body composition.
