Currently, planet Earth cannot sustain the pace of exploitation of its natural resources, which tend to become products that, although they contribute to our well-being, are difficult to reuse and recycle. In the value chain for economic competitiveness and social prosperity, the growing needs for affordable access to energy are a priority. The energy supply is relevant because it overlaps with sustainable development, and must meet the requirements of energy security, social equity and reduction of environmental impact. Efforts at present are oriented towards an energy transition to mitigate global warming, mitigating greenhouse gas emissions through the decarbonization of energy systems, which involves moving from fossil fuels to sources with reduced or no emissions, such as renewables. The transition to cleaner and greener energy systems impacts lifestyles, livelihoods, societies and economies. Therefore, it is relevant to have a prospective vision to envision the future, encouraging reactions that tend to provide affordable access to clean energy to allow education and decent and supportive conditions for a hopeful future throughout the world, especially in rural areas with dispersed populations. while respecting the planet.
